Lake Naivasha

One of the other freshwater lakes in the Great Rift Valley. It is the second site listed by Kenya as a Wetland of International Importance under the Ramsar Convention after Lake Baringo. Bird species seen are Grey-headed Gull, Black-lored Babbler, Grey Woodpecker, African Fish Eagle, Grey-backed Fiscal and many more. You can also take a boat ride to look for species which hide in the reeds. Not far from Naivasha is Lake Oloidien which is a good place for Waders
