Kakamega Forest

This forest is in western part of Kenya. Home to the Blue-headed Bee-eater, a Kakamega speciality that, in the whole of the East Africa region, can be seen only in this one forest. Here you will see Black-and-White casqued Hornbill, Great Blue Turaco, Yellow-spotted Barbet, Double-toothed Barbet, Yellow-billed Barbet, Grey-throated Barbet, Equatorial Akalat, White-tailed Ant Thrush, Turner’s Eremomela, Western Black-headed Oriole, Stuhlmann’s Starling, Black-billed Weaver and Red-headed Malimbe.
