Lake Baringo
This is one of the freshwater lakes in the Great Rift Valley and again north of the Equator. The habitat is very similar to Samburu, but has Cliffs. Birding along the cliffs is a good place to look for Brown-tailed Rock Chat, Bristle-crowned Starling, Hemprich Hornbill , Jackson’s Hornbill, Cape Eagle-Owl and White-faced Scops Owl. Others included Heuglin’s Courser, Northern Masked Weaver and Northern Red Bishop. Take a boat ride to see the Goliath Heron, Yellow-crowned Bishop which are seen during the raining season and many more. Good place to see the White-billed Buffalo Weavers
