Samburu / Buffalo Springs National Reserves

This National Reserve is on the Northern part of Kenya or north of the Equator. The area is quite hot and dry. But during the raining season it is green with wild flowers and paradise for the birds. Here you will see bird species like Donaldson- Smith Sparrow-Weaver, Black-capped Social Weaver, White-headed Mousebirds, Golden-breasted Starling, Black-faced Sandgrouse, Lichtenstein’s Sandgrouse, Vulturine Guineafowl, Somali Bee-eater, Somali Ostrich and African Orange-bellied Parrot.
